Samsung S3 Features

Samsung’s Galaxy S3 and the Note are about to get cleverer, with an imminent Smart Feature update bringing a raft of Galaxy S3 widgets. It’s thought that this Jelly Bean 4.2 upgrade will bring dual camera features and Smart Scroll. These phones are getting a new lease of life so that they continue to sell well despite the Galaxy S4 heading our way.

Before we knew about the Galaxy S4, the Note 2 was one of the fanciest devices around.

So, we know that the Galaxy S3 and the Note 2 will be getting Key Lime Pie, and the original Note will be getting JB 4.2.2. The Galaxy S3 and Note 2’s bump-up will confer mobile print to these devices, which is v swish indeed.

Who’da thunk it? The Galaxy S3 and the Note 2 getting Smart Pause, Dual Camera, Smart Scroll, Optical Reader, S-Translator and S-Health? There’s bound to be more goodies than these on their way, too.

However, we have to ask if all these other devices are going to be getting KLP, should we bother with the Samsung Galaxy S4?

The Portfolio Planning Veep at Samsung has said that the Galaxy S4’s features were definitely coming to other flagship handsets.

It’s not clear yet, though, whether these features are coming as an update or whether people will need to just buy newer S3s and so on. Worth thinking about.
